Welcome to the 2012 SLC Ride and Shoot
The purpose of the event is tri-fold:
1. Spread awareness about local businesses in downtown, which helps stimulate local economy.
2. Helps promote the use of Bicycles instead of Gas transportation which augments a healthy and sustainable life.
3. Brings the Salt Lake Community together for a good time.
Directions:
Someone on your team must have instagram, because that is how we will be keep track of points.
Go to Pioneer Park between 1:45 and 2 pm, find our booth, and receive your scavenger hunt list.
You have 3 Hours to find as many items as possible.
There will be 20 business items and 10 bonus items for you to find.
**For the "Business Items" you need your whole team in the picture minus 1 person.
**For the "Bonus Items," all you need to do is take the picture.
**2 points for each business item you get and 1 point for each bonus item you get.
At 9pm, we will announce the winners and show all of the pictures taken on a projector screen at MO's Bar and Grill. 358 S West Temple.
How to Win:
There are 3 ways to earn prizes for the event:
Most overall points. Plain and simple the team that takes the most pictures of the items wins.
Best Dressed Team. A panel of judges will rate each teams costume in the pictures.
Fill in the Blank. At each venue you go to that is correct, you will receive a letter and a number. Apply the letter to a number and figure out the phrase.
Prizes:
Free Vegetarian Dinner prepared for your entire team
4' x 4' Art pieces by local artists
Gift Certificates to local venues
Rules:
Teams must consist of at least 2 people with a max of 5 people.
Someone on your team must have an instagram account.
Teams must use a self-propelled means of transportation. i.e. Bicycle, Skateboard or scooter.
Entire team minus 1 person (camera man) must be in the picture.
Be respectful of the venues you will be entering.
